Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties are included in those accepting.
To get started eRecording you can place an order for County Recording through our online portal at JanneyandJanney.com. Once you place your order online, a confirmation with your order number will be sent to you via email. Please include the order confirmation page with the documents we are to eRecord for you.
When requesting an eRecording assignment we require an original document to submit your recording electronically. You can choose to mail, overnight deliver, or request Janney & Janney pick up the original document(s) from your location. eRecording is completed through our Santa Ana office, so if you choose to mail or overnight deliver the assignment, it should be addressed Janney & Janney Legal Support Service, 840 North Birch Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701. If you have a question, call (213) 628-6338 and ask for E Recording information.
Once the documents have been submitted, how long does it take to record? It varies from county to county. Some are completed within minutes; others may take days. It is important to note that the date of recording will be the date the clerk processes the documents, not the date we submit the recording to them. Upon completion, you will receive another email with a copy of your recorded document. You can also access your recorded document(s) at any time through the Janney portal under your closed orders.
