Beginning May 4, 2026, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County will introduce a new department (courtroom) numbering system at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
Under the new numbering, the department (or courtroom) number will match the room number, with the first number of each department number corresponding to the floor on which the courtroom is located, making it easier for court users to navigate the courthouse.
